Our Founder
With 25 years of experience in the public & private sector transformation, I decided to shift my focus. I wanted to understand why creating more agile, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environments is difficult, even when there is an apparent desire for change among organisational leaders. Often, blame and credit is placed at the feet of individual leaders, but there is greater complexity in the context within great leaders succeed. So, I embarked on a PhD to explore how institutional and organisational structure influence personal agency. I discovered that in complex systems, change is not always what it seems, and there are mechanisms that create continuous feedback loops that maintain the status quo, which can cause your organisation to become trapped and spiral into continuoulsy increasing under-performance.
This ultimately costs organizations time, money and people - and reduces system performance.
